Islamabad:  National Coordination Committee on Housing Construction and Development held its 127th meeting in Islamabad today.
The meeting was convened by Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA), Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder (Retd), HI(M) and attended by officials from the Ministries of Housing and Works, Planning, Development & Special Initiative, Finance, Law and Justice, Survey of Pakistan, FBR, CDA as well as Chief Secretary’s offices Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, AJ&K, GB, Deputy Chairman NAPHDA, Major General Amer Aslam Khan (Retd), HI(M), T.Bt, and others.

The Committee reviewed progress on different housing and construction initiatives. Briefing on master planning was given by all the provinces. The provinces informed the Committee that process of master planning is in progress which will be completed in the next few months. Progress on operationalization of one window digital portal along with backend automation and automated tracking system was also presented. Building plan approvals were also discussed by all the provinces which shows an upward trend.
