Islamabad:  The seventh meeting of the NAPHDA Policy Board was held today in Islamabad. The meeting presided over by Chairman NAPHDA Lt. General Anwar Ali Hyder HI(M) (Retd), was attended by officials from the Cabinet Division, Ministry of Housing and Works, Finance Division, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and members from the private sector, amongst others.

A number of key matters relating to the implementation of low-cost housing and construction were placed before the Policy Board for discussion and approval. Updates, discussion and decisions were focused on the current status, strategy and way forward in the development of low-cost housing sector.

​A presentation on Affordable Housing Models was also given by Mr. Zaigham M. Rizvi, member from the private sector.
