Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated low cost housing project in Sargodha district of Punjab under Punjab Government peri urban scheme. A total of 1,175, 3.5 marla houses will be constructed at six locations in the district. The Punjab government will provide land and other facilities for the project. Construction work will be completed by the Frontier Works Organization. Bank of Punjab will take charge of the mortgage facility which will enable the deserving persons to pay the total price of the houses in easy installments. Cost subsidy of Rs 300,000 will be provided by Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority to the eligible applicants.
