Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated 1320 low cost housing units at Jalozai Housing Scheme, Nowshera. The project, launched by PHA / Housing Department–KPK in collaboration with Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority is spread over an area of 150 kanal. The cost of the project is Rs 3300 million. The project will provide housing to those living under an income bracket of Rs 40000 . Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority will provide a cost subsidy of Rs. 3 lac per unit. The remaining payments will be made by the individuals over a period of 10 to 20 years through Bank of Khyber. The project will be completed in a period of 18 months. The initiative is a step forward towards implementation of vision of the Prime Minister Imran Khan for the provision of low cost houses to the eligible population at affordable terms.
